January 28 - How to Decide Where to Live in France with Adrian Leeds (in English via Zoom), 2:00pm Eastern. For people wanting to move to France who haven’t yet settled on a particular city and want more options, this is a big topic. There are a lot of places in France to love and it’s easy to view them from rose-colored glasses. Adrian Leeds will talk about all those wonderful villages, towns, cities, regions, etc., but with the practical aspects in mind that will help you make the best decisions. February 1- Special presentation with author and publisher Janine Marsh (in English via Zoom).10:00am Eastern. Join us for the true tales of Janine’s rollercoaster ride through a different culture and a path to a new life in northern France. Event is free but you must register in advance here.

February 9, Art Nouveau: From its Origins to its Current Representation (in English via Zoom) 4:00pm Eastern. 

Join us via Zoom in welcoming Antoinette Martin, who will speak about the origins and foundations of Art Nouveau, its influences, emblematic topics and famous artists, and the place of Art Nouveau today. Antoinette Martin is the president of AJEAN 7577, an association that promotes Art Nouveau through conferences and events. Free for members but you must register in advance here.

February 10,  Rodin Collection at the North Carolina Museum of Arts (en français), 12:00pm Eastern, via Zoom 

Join docent Diane Beckman for a virtual tour of the Rodin collection at the North Carolina Museum of Arts .

How did the North Carolina Museum of Art become the home to “the best collection of Rodin sculptures east of Los Angeles and south of Philadelphia?” This virtual presentation, based on the work of David Steel, the former curator of European Art at the NCMA, explains how the works came to Raleigh and why Rodin matters today. Free for members but you must register in advance here.

February 21, Bonjour Sagan» : Eve-Alice Roustang nous invite à revivre les romans de Francoise Sagan (en français), 4:00pm Eastern via Zoom. 

Françoise Sagan, cette icône de la littérature française, sera à l’honneur avec Eve-Alice Roustang, spécialiste de son œuvre. Ancienne professeur de lettre, dans Comme dans un roman de Sagan, Roustang montre avec humour les enseignements que chacun peut tirer des livres de Sagan.

Une conversation avec Patricia Bona et Isabelle Leroux permettra d’explorer les thèmes chers à cette romancière classique, mais toujours à la mode. Free for members but you must register in advance here.


March 29- Chef Alain LeNôtre invites you to make Lemon Meringue Tart (in English). 4:00pm Eastern, via Zoom. Join us as we welcome Chef Alain LeNôtre, who will be sharing his recipe for how to make Lemon Meringue Tart. Free for members but you must register in advance here.

Table Ronde. Ici on parle français!

 Weds. morning Table Ronde sessions meet from 9:45am -11:30am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 301 N Main St, Doylestown, PA. Our Weds. evening Table Ronde meets at a member's home from 7:30pm -9:00pm. Check calendar for details or contact us.
