January 28 - How to Decide Where to Live in France with Adrian Leeds (in English via Zoom), 2:00pm Eastern. For people wanting to move to France who haven’t yet settled on a particular city and want more options, this is a big topic. There are a lot of places in France to love and it’s easy to view them from rose-colored glasses. Adrian Leeds will talk about all those wonderful villages, towns, cities, regions, etc., but with the practical aspects in mind that will help you make the best decisions. February 9, Art Nouveau: From its Origins to its Current Representation (in English via Zoom) 4:00pm Eastern.
Join us via Zoom in welcoming Antoinette Martin, who will speak about the origins and foundations of Art Nouveau, its influences, emblematic topics and famous artists, and the place of Art Nouveau today. Antoinette Martin is the president of AJEAN 7577, an association that promotes Art Nouveau through conferences and events. Free for members but you must register in advance here.

Join docent Diane Beckman for a virtual tour of the Rodin collection at the North Carolina Museum of Arts .
How did the North Carolina Museum of Art become the home to “the best collection of Rodin sculptures east of Los Angeles and south of Philadelphia?” This virtual presentation, based on the work of David Steel, the former curator of European Art at the NCMA, explains how the works came to Raleigh and why Rodin matters today.
